About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior iOS Mobile Engineer - Ad Tech  role to lead the development and optimization of our advertising technology solutions within our iOS applications. You will play a critical role in implementing monetization strategies, integrating ad networks and SDKs, and ensuring high performance, privacy compliance, and a seamless user experience.. This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in in-app monetization, programmatic advertising, and backend ad-serving technologies. You will define the architecture, ensure system scalability, and drive revenue growth by implementing cutting-edge solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of ad tech features and integrations within iOS applications.
• Design and optimize ad-serving workflows for mobile apps built with Swift, Flutter, ensuring seamless integration with ad mediation and programmatic platforms.
• Implement consent frameworks (e.g., IAB TCF, ATT prompt) to ensure GDPR, CCPA, and Apple App Store compliance.
• Develop tools and systems to monitor, test, and validate ad performance and SDK stability.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to align Ad Tech strategies with company revenue goals.
• Stay current with the latest ad tech and iOS developments to ensure our products remain competitive and compliant.
• Act as a technical mentor for engineers working on Ad Tech mobile integrations and backend services.
• Stay ahead of Ad Tech innovations, including AI-driven ad optimization, contextual targeting, and the evolving landscape of in-app advertising.

Qualification

• 6+ years of experience in iOS development with Swift with a focus on Ad Tech architecture, programmatic advertising, and mobile monetization.
• Deep understanding of iOS SDK, UIKit, SwiftUI, CoreData, and related frameworks with solid knowledge of software engineering principles and design patterns.
• 2+ years working directly with ad tech in mobile applications.
• Good knowledge of Flutter / Dart to develop cross-platform applications.
• Experience with Extreme Programming (XP) - Paired programming, TDD, CI etc. 
• Hands-on experience integrating and optimizing mobile ad SDKs (Google Ad Manager, MoPub, AppLovin, Prebid Mobile, etc.).
• Experience with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and Apple’s privacy policies (ATT, SKAdNetwork)
• Strong understanding of real-time data processing, latency optimization, and high-throughput ad transactions.
• Strong problem-solving skills with an understanding of performance tuning, memory management, and debugging tools.
• Ability to guide and mentor engineering teams, promoting Ad Tech and Mobile development best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
